Last week, I had the privilege of attending a unique celebration. It was a rare melding of two ancient cultures, a joyous affirmation of life, of existence, and a testament to our capacity to embrace both our similarities and differences.
Mexican shamans and healers journeyed from afar, performing age-old ceremonies and presenting offerings to the venerable druids and witches of England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland.
The setting was brimming with an ineffable magic, a palpable sense of the sanctity of the occasion. Words were exchanged, tokens of friendship were presented, and many of us found ourselves moved to tears, humbled by the miracle before us.
It was a spectacle of human unity, a sight of individuals looking past cultural preconceptions, beyond religious or political divisions. Together, we danced, we laughed, we reveled in the celebration of life.
This remarkable event unfolded in Glastonbury, amid the sacred landmarks of Avalon and the Tor Tower.
Here, I share with you, a few of the glimpses I manged to capture of this extraordinary event.
